My name is Ron Sherwood. I decided to develop and administer ColoradoHikingtrails.net because of my love of the Colorado outdoors, and a passion for all things technical (including the web). After looking at the existing web sites that serve the outdoor community, I (somewhat naively) decided that, using the newer tools available to web developers, I could do a better job.

The end result is ColoradoHikingtrails.net. In addition to becoming the #1 resource on the web for information on hiking trails in Colorado, I hope that through the opportunity to share your favorite trails with the rest of us, and through the review and forums, we can all become a tighter-knit community.
